To find books or video materials on a particular topic, begin with a keyword search in OneSearch and use the limiter for Books Only, or do your search first then use the "Source Type" limiter on the left side for Books, eBooks, and/or Videos as needed.

Examples of subject headings (aka keyword phrases) to try, in combination with your own more specific terms:

  • Cognitive therapy
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Neuropsychology
  • Psychopharmacology
  • Senses and sensation

Many headings are used with subdivisions for a particular topic, such as:

  • Aging -- Psychological aspects
  • Psychology -- History
  • Stress -- Psychology -- Prevention
  • Women -- Psychology

If you have the title or ISBN of a specific ebook and want to know if the Library already has access to it, you can use the Publication Finder instead for a simpler search experience.

Print books (with the exception of those in Reference and Special Collections) are shelved by Library of Congress call number on the Upper Level.

Most print psychology books are under BF.
