Eureka (PEI Daily Newspapers) -- Includes the Island's two daily newspapers, The Guardian (Charlottetown) and The Journal-Pioneer (Summerside). The Guardian is available from May, 1997 (PDFs from March 2007- ) and The Journal-Pioneer from April, 1999 (PDFs from March 2007 - ).

The New York Times - The New York Times has opened its current edition and its archives going back to 1851 to the public. These can be freely searched. The full text of articles written between 1851 and 1922, as well as those written between 1987 and today are available. The editions between 1923 and 1986 are searchable and a free preview of each article is available but the Times will charge for the full text. Users are reminded that the Robertson Library has a full set of the New York Times on microfilm so that the 1923-1986 articles are available in the Library.
