This information is about print books and periodicals. Most of the library's books and periodicals are full text online rather than in print. See also E-Books.
Most of the books you can sign out of the Library are located on the Upper Level. You will need the call number of the book (found by searching the Library Catalogue) to find it on the shelves.
Watch an online tutorial on Call Numbers & How to Find Books in Robertson Library.
Most print periodicals are located on the Upper Level, shelved in alphabetical order, in the Bound Stacks (back issues). Current print periodicals are behind the Service Desk.
Periodicals are items which are published on a regular basis, such as journals, magazines, and newspapers. "Serial" is another term sometimes used.
Peer-reviewed, or scholarly, journals is a special class of periodicals.
