The library pays for access to lots of different types of content, but we don’t have everything.
You may come across a book or article that we don’t have in our collection. When this happens, you may need to place a request with our Interlibrary Loan office to have them borrow a copy for you from another library, free of charge.
- Before you place a request, double-check to make sure we don’t already have access to the item you’re looking for:
- If you are looking for an article, follow the instructions here: "I am looking for a specific article."
- If you are looking for a book, follow the instructions here: "I am looking for specific book."
- If you're not sure whether something is an article or a book chapter, see "Is this a book or an article?"
- Once you're certain we don't have the item, place an interlibrary loan request. The request form, and more information, are available on the Library's interlibrary loans page.
