I am looking for a specific article

If you know the title of the article you are looking for:

Go into OneSearch and type or paste the title of the article into the first search box surrounded by quotation marks. Click on the drop-down menu “Select a Field (optional)” then choose “TI Title” and press “Search.”

Always make sure to check that the author/journal title/issue or other information matches with the result you find to ensure it is the same article.

If you can't find what you are looking for in OneSearch:

  • If you get zero results or don’t see the article you are looking for, first check that the title is typed correctly, then make sure the drop-down menu is set to “TI Title.”
  • Try typing the title into Google with quotation marks around it to see if you can find it online to read. *Do not pay for any articles! We can almost always get it to you for free! (See Interlibrary Loan Form below!)
  • If you still can’t find the article, you can input all the information you have on it into our Interlibrary Loan Form and we will borrow it from another library for you! Not sure what Interlibrary Loan is? Find out here.

If you need help with finding an article or filling out the Interlibrary Loan Form, feel free to ask us on our Live Chat, or contact your subject librarian.
