What is an article?
In an academic context, an article is a research paper that has been published in a journal.
A journal is a collection of articles, editorials (opinions pieces), book reviews, and other written pieces. Journals normally follow a theme. For example, The Journal of Nutrition would only publish anything related to nutrition. The journal Science would only publish pieces related to science.
