Free Trial - Streaming Films

The Library is conducting a free trial of Kanopy Streaming Films through late December, 2015.

Kanopy hosts over 13,000 films, mostly documentaries and other non-fiction format videos.

They are searchable by keyword or browseable by subject area.

Here are links to just a few sample specific areas:

Nursing (500+ videos), Canadian Cinema (17), Gender Studies (405), Environmental Sciences (818),  Business/Leadership Training (513), Veterinary Science (74), Canadian/Indigenous Studies (21)

All of these are videos that are not (legally) freely available online anywhere.

They also do not overlap with our existing NFB Campus and Films on Demand streaming video services.

Please send your feedback to the Collections Librarian, Melissa Belvadi, mbelvadi@upei.ca
