Some research topics need a bit of vocabulary logic to find sufficient books and articles.
Canned pieces of searches for specific components are often called "search hedges" or "search filters".
These recommendations can be used in combination with whatever other concepts your topic requires.
All are provided in the syntax appropriate for EBSCOhost and OneSearch searches unless otherwise noted.
See also the free database SearchRxiv to find others and more complicated versions of these, although watch for which search platform those are written for - some are EBSCO but some are for other search platforms.
Another useful source, with a health-centric focus but can also be useful for the social sciences, is the ISSG Search Filters database, which indexes articles that provide extensive search hedges or discuss strategies or creating them. Those might be for any search platform. Ask your subject librarian for assistance translating any of these into EBSCO syntax or any other you want to use.
