The Research Data Management & Knowledge Synthesis provides expertise, instruction, and infrastructure to support research data management practices and knowledge synthesis projects, such as systematic reviews, scoping reviews, or other synthesis projects.
Research Data Management
Data@UPEI - the University's suite of services for research data management, including research data management education, a data management planning tool, and a data repository for publishing your data files.
Data Liberation Initiative - a Statistics Canada program to provide Canadian post-secondary institutions access to Statistics Canada public use microdata files, detailed Census data files, databases and geographic files. Use of these files is limited to UPEI faculty, staff and students for academic research and teaching purposes. DLI files may be requested through the UPEI DLI contact, Kim Mears.
Knowledge Synthesis
Covidence - online software for managing the systematic review process. It facilitates the process of screening references (both title/abstract and full-text), conducting data extraction, completing risk of bias analysis and creating a PRISMA flowchart. Request invitation to join University of Prince Edward Island's Covidence account: https://tinyurl.com/2p92b4yw
