What is Academic Integrity?
While UPEI celebrates and is committed to sharing knowledge, we are also adamant that this knowledge must be shared fairly. This means that honesty is of the utmost importance when it comes to learning. When completing individual work, we must always make sure that the work is our own. When sharing knowledge that we have not created, we must always acknowledge its source. These acts of honesty are what make up academic integrity. In this portal, you'll find a variety of resources covering everything you'd need to know about academic integrity, including guides on citing, a tutorial on preventing plagiarism, practice activities, and information about UPEI's academic integrity policy.
