Library Exhibit

The Indigenous Perspectives on Climate Change course (ACC2030/IKE2030) will be hosting an exhibition on April 3rd at 3:30pm in the Robertson Library Lobby. The exhibition will showcase creative pieces by students based on their reflections of Knowledge-Keeper Elder Gary Joe Augustine's, from Elsipogtog First Nation, presentation.

The Library will be closed on Remembrance Day, a day to remember & honour those who have served Canada in times of war, military conflict & peace. Veterans' Week Nov. 5th-11th. Nov. 8th is National Aboriginal Veterans' Day.

A Mi’kmaq Petroglyph Exhibit by Mi’kmaq Artisan, Todd Labrador. Official opening Monday, Oct. 7 at noon. Story by PEI Poet Laureate and Mi’kmaq Author, Julie Pellisier-Lush. The exhibit will be open until Oct. 25th.

On Tuesday, June 25 at 6:30 pm on the second floor of UPEI’s Robertson Library. PEI writer Marion Bruce will present “The Lion of Prince of Wales: Alexander Anderson—An Unsung Hero of Prince Edward Island’s Education System.”

June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day, a day for all Canadians to recognize & celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures, & outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit & Métis peoples in Canada. Come visit our display in the Library Lobby.

The Robertson Library invites you to recognize and celebrate International Open Access Week during the week of October 22 - 28, 2018!

You are welcome to attend the opening of Sailing to the Shores of Generosity, an exhibit of small works of mixed media/collage by artist Louise Mould.
