Data & Research Services (Unit)

The Data and Research Services Unit provides library support to the research activities on campus through the following services:

Interlibrary Loan - provides library users access to materials (books, articles, microforms) not available in Robertson Library by requesting the materials from other libraries. The Interlibrary Loan staff are Christine MacLauchlan and Dorothy Peters. For further information, contact the ILL Department at 566-0445 or by email

Data Liberation Initiative - a Statistics Canada program to provide Canadian post-secondary institutions access to Statistics Canada public use microdata files, detailed Census data files, databases and geographic files. Use of these files is limited to UPEI faculty, staff and students for academic research and teaching purposes. DLI files may be requested through the UPEI DLI contact, Dawn Hooper.
