TRID (Transport Research International Documentation) is the world's largest and most comprehensive bibliographic resource on transportation research information.  It is produced and maintained by the Transportation Research Board of the US National Academies with sponsorship by State Departments of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and various federal agencies, and other sponsors of TRB's core technical activities.  ITRD is produced by ITRD member organizations under the under the sponsorship of Joint Transport Research Centre (collectively JTRC) of the International Transport Forum and Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and ITRD.

TRID covers all modes and disciplines of transportation and contains more than 1.4 million records of published research.  More than 422,000 records contain links to full-text documents.

Records in TRID are indexed with a standardized vocabulary from the Transportation Research Thesaurus (TRT), ITRD Thesaurus or a different thesaurus depending on the source organization.

Unfortunately, UPEI is unable to include "Check@UPEI" links from the article citation records in this database to our own full text licenses. Please use our journal lookup (or interlibrary loan service if UPEI does not own that article).
