This page provides links to some of the many available online reference tools. The "Collections" listed below will lead to a vast array of resources; both general and specialized. Other sections contain selected resources which may provide you with needed information. Robertson Library has many other reference resources in various formats which may meet your informational needs. Internet Public Library Reference Center - a compilation of electronic "standard general reference aids": almanacs, calculation and conversion tools, calendars, U. S. Census data, dictionaries, encyclopedias, geneology, news, quotations, style and writing guides, telephone number sources, etc. Annotations are included which describe all sources.
Martindale's "The Reference Desk" - includes both general and specialized reference tools covering many subject areas (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Entertainment and Arts, International Business, etc.).

ISI Journal Abbreviations Index - lists journal abbreviations and the full journal title for journals indexed by ISI products, such as the Web of Science (from Caltech).
The National Library of Medicine's PubMed includes a journal browser that can be searched by the full journal title, by ISSN, or MEDLINE abbreviation.
