The Cochrane Library, owned by Cochrane and published by John Wiley & Sons., is a collection of databases that contain different types of high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. The Library includes the following:
- The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR) - systematic reviews in health care
- The Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL) - reports of randomized and quasi-randomized controlled trials (does not contain the full text of the article)
- Cochrane Clinical Answers (CCAs) provide a readable, digestible, clinically-focused entry point to rigorous research from Cochrane Reviews.
