Looking to scan some paperwork, make a pdf of some class notes, or need to digitize a few formulas from your text book?
The Robertson Library has a KIC Click Mini scanner in the Learning Commons that will allow you to do all of these things and more.
The Click Mini is a high-speed, face-up book scanner that you can use to scan pages into a single PDF to send to your email or save to a USB stick.
To scan simply:
- Choose a language and press "SCAN" on the touchscreen monitor.
- Place your item face up on the scan-bed on the left. Use the lines to position the document.
- Press "SCAN" on the monitor. It will detect the two sides and save them as separate pages.
- Continue to press "SCAN" as you turn pages (or press one of the green buttons on the side of the scanbed).
- When you are done, you can email it to yourself, or save the PDF to your flash drive.
