When there is a green circle at the top left corner, library staff is available to help you right now! (Ask Us Hours)

Tours leave from the Service Desk and last 30-40 minutes. Tours are limited to 6 people per tour.

Reserves are the materials designated by instructors for their students in specific courses. Such materials are "on reserve". They may include books, photocopies, audiovisual materials, or miscellaneous items. These items are available for a limited loan period so that students may have relatively easy access to them. Reserves are located at the Serivce Desk on the Main Level of the Library, you will need to bring your Campus Card to sign any items out.
E-Reserves: Is material requested by faculty to be placed Full Text online.
Access e-reserves using your UPEI username/password through the Reserves link above.
How to Borrow:
Bring your Campus Card to the Service Desk.
Please request items by title and course.
Items may be taken out of the Library unless specified for In Library use only.
Reserve material cannot be renewed by phone or by email.
A hold cannot be placed on Reserve material.
Reserve material can only be renewed in person at the Service Desk and only if no one else is waiting for that material.
If you are having problems getting the material, talk to your instructor who can work with Library staff to resolve the problem.
Scanning a chapter of a book placed on Reserve for individual students, will not be done by staff.
