Ask Us chat platform is meant to be a respectful environment where helpful interactions can safely take place. We will not tolerate harassment of any kind.
All users of this service are reminded that they are subject to relevant University policies, including the UPEI Fair Treatment Policy, the UPEI Sexual Violence Policy, and, for UPEI students, the UPEI Student Code of Conduct. Ask Us sessions are to be conducted using respectful language and common courtesies. Harassment or disrespectful behaviour will result in a 24 hour ban. If the behaviour continues, further measures, as provided for in the above policies, may be taken.
This policy is not intended to stifle responsible scholarly discourse and debate. Discussions on difficult topics are welcome, as long as they are conducted with sincerity and respect.
