Fall 2023 Update: the Librarians have decided to deprecate OneSearch Lite, which means don't look for it anymore, and instead use regular OneSearch and just click the "Available in Library" limit checkbox.
If you have created any direct links/bookmarks to Lite, please delete them. The actual profile underneath will stay active for several months to give everyone time to change their links but it will eventually go away.

OneSearch Lite is a simplified version of OneSearch intended for UPEI lower undergraduate students.
It is designed to help students quickly find resources that the library owns or can get very quickly.
By comparison, the full OneSearch includes indexing to a much wider range of resources, many of which require the use of the Interlibrary Loan service to obtain.
Major differences are that Lite:
- Searches a smaller set of resources, primarily licensed databases plus the catalogue;
- Defaults to being limited to "Available in Library Collection";
- The results layout has fewer choices along the left side and hidden choices along the right for simpler viewing of results;
- Results do not include the full abstract, which simplifies browsing down the list faster. Use the magnifying glass icon on the right to see a pop-up display with the abstract.
