Most of the books you can sign out of the Library are located on the Upper Level. You will need the call number of the book (found by searching the Library Catalogue) to find it on the shelves.

Most print periodicals are located on the Upper Level, shelved in alphabetical order, in either the Current Stacks (most recent issues) or in the Bound Stacks (back issues). Print periodicals are for in-library use only.
By the way, periodicals are items which are published on a regular basis, such as journals, magazines,and newspapers. Serial is sometimes used as a synonymous term.
- Journal is a type of periodical intended for a scholarly audience and articles are written by and for scholars and researchers in the field.
- Magazine is a type of periodical intended for a general reading audience and containing articles of popular interest.
