PEI is holding a non-binding "plebiscite" on whether to change the provincial vote counting system for future provincial elections.
Citizens 16 years or older can vote on this and the vote is taking place by phone or online.
According to the Elections PEI website:
Voting for the Plebiscite on Democratic Renewal begins at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 29th.
To register, please call us at 1-888-234-8683 Monday-Saturday 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. or visit our online registration portal.
There are several choices available to voters.
