UPEI is now operating under a fair dealing context and the Library will continue to monitor the Copyright landscape as it evolves. 

All members of the UPEI community are impacted by new copyright developments, and mostly in a positive way when it comes to learning and research.

The best way to understand these impacts and how you can act in this new landscape is to review our Fair Copying Guidelines which are updated regularly to provide the campus community with information and suggestions for best practices in using copyrighted material. These guidelines are for the education of the UPEI community and should not be construed as legal advice.
